RealSense

Context

During my time at Intel, I worked within an innovation incubator focused on developing Vision AI solutions across multiple industries. In a separate case study, I showcase my UX work for one of these solutions called PT Metrics, which applied computer vision to support clinicians in the physical therapy space.

What is RealSense?

A key technology behind vision AI solutions is RealSense, which provides the hardware cameras that allow AI systems to perceive and interact with the visual world. In July 2025, RealSense was officially spun off from Intel following organizational restructuring.

Role & Impact

Working in collaboration with Bospar (public relations agency) and my marketing manager, I supported the transition of RealSense into an independent company. This involved removing Intel branding, helping establish the new visual identity, and contributing to the design and UX of the new RealSense website.

These efforts helped support the successful launch of RealSense as an independent brand while communicating the platform’s value across robotics, AI, and computer vision industries.

Landing Page UX

Site Mapping

Helped define the new website architecture by creating a site map and wireframing key page templates, collaborating closely with product managers and marketing to align structure, content hierarchy, and user experience.

Product Recommender Tool

I helped drive the design and logic of a product recommender tool that helps customers navigate RealSense’s wide range of camera options and identify the model that best fits their technical requirements and use case.

Value Propositions & Differentiator

I also strongly advocated for including clear value propositions and competitor differentiators on the landing page, which is critical for helping visitors quickly understand why a product stands out in a competitive market and reducing decision friction.
